Thanks so much for recommending our DNS tools! We are working hard on creating an all in one tool that does all the DNS test and lookups you could ever need! If you have any other tools additions or feedback, please let us know.

Thanks,

Hi, I am thinking of using CubicTest for web test automation and it definitely looks promising. Thanks for the confirmation!!
I was wondering if you could help me figure out a work around to the problem you have specified with CubicTest i.e. the absence of a Test Object Repository.
Would appreciate any help.

Thanks!!

Ravi,
I have been unable to use the OpenSolaris package for ffmpeg. The best way is to download the source and compile ffmpeg. You can download the source from here . And then configure, make and make install and follow the instructions that I have in the blog post when you come to that.

I am really getting tired of getting ffmpeg to work on my joyent free accelerator. Followed the instructions by an insider there on their forums to use pkg_add for ffmpeg and mencoder using Q2 pkg. Still does not work. The su commands so, pkg was added, but my php info does not show ffmpeg as being installed and programs using ffmpeg does not work. Any help to get this working be appreciated. Following is the output from my sudo commands.

[root@d8f00000 ~]#
[root@d8f00000 ~]# [root@d8f00000 ~]# export PKG_PATH=http://pkgsrc.joyent.com/2008Q2/All
-bash: [root@d8f00000: command not found
[root@d8f00000 ~]# [root@d8f00000 ~]# pkg_add ffmpeg
-bash: [root@d8f00000: command not found
[root@d8f00000 ~]# pkg_add: package `ffmpeg-20080727nb1' already recorded as installed
